An RTS-focused studio based out of Vancouver, BC, Relic has spent the last 25 years building some of the world’s most beloved strategy franchises, most notably: Age of Empires IV, Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War, and Company of Heroes. As a member of Relic’s “Central Development” team, my role largely revolved around designing bespoke workflow tools to intercommunicate between an in-house game engine (Essence Engine), Wwise, Reaper, and speech/dialogue systems.
